Yacare

This place gets a 5 stars for the price and quality ratio in food and wine service. Nothing fancy, just good simple well executed cooking. We came back *2 caused we enjoyed yourselves and regreted not coming back a 3rd cos we had to try another restaurant. 1st night : ordered the ribeye and picanca, what came out i was certain is a sirlion, might be a mistake but both were juicy and cooked to perfection, charred and crusted on the outside, still pink and juicy on the inside. 2nd night: we had the picanca and the sirlion (super thick cut like 2 inches) meat doneness had issues initially but was corrected to our liking. Ambience is average and you have to brave some rebel flies. Tips: really good papa fritas! They do a corkage fee for more premium wines you may want to bring and open at their shop.

Really friendly staff, very attentive and happy to help with the menu selection. We had a great and delicious dinner at Yacare, opting for the raviolis and meat.

Daniel made a chilly night out in August in Puerto Iguazu very special. He made sure we were happy with our choice of meats and was very attentive the whole service. I definitely recommend coming by here to check it out.

My family had a lovely evening here! The best meat we've had in our 2 week trip across Argentina. Highly recommend the picanha and fried yucca and caipirinha. Check the menu in person because some dishes from the photos online might not be available. They had a live musician taking requests on a Thursday night.

Amazing experience! Our waiter Daniel was warm and funny, and every dish was delicious. The homemade fries and mayo were a great touch, and the steak was perfectly cooked and top quality. All this for a very affordable price—no idea why this place isn’t more popular. Highly recommend!

Only place in Puerto Iguazu where you can look at the menu in peace without getting harassed by the staff outside the restaurant. That’s why we chose to eat here in the first place. The service was excellent! Daniel did everything to make us feel comfortable without being intrusive. The food was great: we highly recommend the degustación as well as the Tomahawk steak (which was the best meat we had in Argentina!). Very good prices as well. We spent 2 really pleasant evenings there. 100% recommended!

The steak was delicious and juicy. I really enjoyed my dinner here. The food is great and the service outstanding! Best part is that the prices are lower than other restaurants. If you want to eat authentic argentinean bbq made with charcoal, you need to come here. Thank you Daniel for everything!
